'Astray' was written together with 'Have I been Dreaming' and 'Fading' and they talk about the feeling of obsession, loss and disorientation. In 'Astray' the sense of sweet and sadistic surrender to a relentless and deteriorating love is conveyed through the use of 'laid back' vocals
“‘Fading’ talks about the feeling of being obsessed, of neglecting oneself to the point of disappearing and losing one’s identity. The feeling of obsession and despair is conveyed through repeated words and motifs that seem to deteriorate throughout the song”
